We’re taking more photos than ever before: and in 2021, mobile phones will be used for more than 90% of them.

But most of the photos taken on our phones end up forgotten. Lost in a sea of memories, and a larger sea of digital images.

Try to find that fun beach photo you took… which summer was that? You might find yourself scrolling down a number of rabbit holes before you’re lucky enough to locate it again.

Amazon Photos makes it easy to search and find favorite photos by Date Taken, Things, People, and Places then collect them in individually titled albums so they’re always just a click away.

To get started, go to the Amazon Photos website on your desktop browser and sign in to your account. If you haven’t already uploaded your photos to your account, you’ll be prompted to do so.

Once your photo collection is backed up in the cloud you’re ready to organize with albums.

1. Click on Albums in the Your Photos column then Create album in the upper right-hand corner.
Tip: If you prefer, you can create albums from Amazon Drive by clicking the three dots next to Create album above.

2. Select the individual photos that you want to place in your new album.
Tip: You can upload all photos taken on a given day by checking the circle in front of the date.

4. Once you’ve designated which photos you want to go to your new album, click Create album then Add.

5. Title your album then Save album.

It’s fun (and handy) to personalize the albums you create with one of the photos from it. Hover your cursor over your album’s identifying photo until you see the edit icon. Then, select any image from the album to be the star of the show.

Once you’ve got albums, you’re ready to enjoy the photos within them in lots of different ways: View them across Amazon devices like Echo Show and Fire TV; share them with friends and family; order custom prints and photo books; and even create photo slideshows right from the Amazon Photos app.

You’ve got photos in your phone that can’t wait to be seen. Create an album today for easier photo searching (and finding) in the future.
